A NEW HOME FOR LITHIUM REFINERY
TEES VALLEY LITHIUM CHEMICALS PROCESSING PLANT
TVL has secured a 20-acre plot on Sembcorp Energy’s UK site at Wilton International with full access to plug & play facilities including de-mineralised water, low-carbon energy, steam and locally produced chemicals. The facility will supply the equivalent to 15% of European demand by 2030.

TVL’s low-carbon processing route uses intermediate feedstock such as primary lithium sulphate or crude carbonate, allowing TVL to make efficient use of feedstock available and deliver a consistent product quality to market.

As part of a dynamic chemicals park, TVL will be a low waste facility. All by-products will be on sold to neighbouring businesses or recycled back into the environment in benign forms.
